Function
The main function of the department is to organize, register, fund and oversee/supervise the Societies registered under the aforesaid regulations with the objective of aiding and assisting the societies in achieving their objects and to carry out statutory duties viz. Conducting of audit, enquiry, inspection, liquidation, arbitration etc. In functions-wise, the Coop. Department is having following branches as under it:
